Side Sill Panel Removal and Installation
Side Sill Panel (Except Type-R)

2. Side Sill Panel - Remove
1.
Remove the clips (A) and the screws (B).
2.
Open the front door and the rear door.
3.
Slide the side sill panel (A) forward to remove it.
4.
Remove the clips (B) from the body by turning them 45 °, then install them to the side sill panel.

If necessary, remove the side sill panel lip seal (A).

Side Sill Panel (Type-R)

1. Side Sill Panel - Remove

Remove the screws (A) and the clips (B).
2.
Open the front door and the rear door.
3.
Slide the side sill panel (A) forward to remove it.
4.
Remove the clips (B) from the body by turning them 45 °, then install them to the side sill panel.
5.
If necessary, remove the side sill panel lip seal (A).

Side Sill Panel Support (For Some Models)

3. Side Sill Panel Support - Remove
Wear goggles or safety glasses to prevent eye injury.

Drill out the rivets (A) with a drill (B), then remove the side sill panel support (C) from the side sill panel (D).

Side Sill Panel (Except Type-R)

Install the side sill panel lip seal (A).
NOTE : If you are reusing the side sill panel lip seal, apply the adhesive primer to the area where the new double-sided adhesive tape will be applied, then attach the new double-sided adhesive tape to the side sill panel lip seal.

Hold up the side sill panel (A), and fit the clips (B) into the holes in the body, then push on the side sill panel until the clips snap into place.
3.
Install the clips (A) and the screws (B).

Side Sill Panel (Type-R)

Install the side sill panel lip seal (A).
NOTE : If you are reusing the side sill panel lip seal, apply the adhesive primer to the area where the new double-sided adhesive tape will be applied, then attach the new double-sided adhesive tape to the side sill panel lip seal.

Hold up the side sill panel (A), and fit the clips (B) into the holes in the body, then push on the side sill panel until the clips snap into place.

Install the screws (A) and the clips (B).

Side Sill Panel Support (For Some Models)

1.
Install the side sill panel support (A) to the side sill panel (B) with the new rivets (C).
